Lumière Noire by E.E.L. Ambiense Front Panel

I chose to mod the front panel entirely as well to accommodate the new custom radiator install as well as add some personal touches to it. I designed and cut a couple pieces of acrylic to do this.

First off, the 5.25 bay cover that holds the slotload DVD drive & both reservoir/pump combos, as well as housing all four switches for the system’s controls.

It’s cut from transparent grey acrylic, but with a strategically placed black vinyl backing to mask off areas that aren’t to be seen from outside the case, like wiring etc. Here’s the acrylic’s design.

Having sorted this piece, front dual rad grill design I then test fitted it on the stock front section of the case. This revealed the need for a little modifcation. I also test fitted the acrylic pieces.
